The System is Screwed UP

Well one of my friends brought up a great chat stream on facebook. She has not seen her husband since Monday. Now mind you it is Tuesday evening. Her husband along with mine are police officers. So here we go.......

My husband puts his life on the line everyday. Everyday he is working he is dealing with jackasses, criminals drug dealers even murders. Now he loves this job!!! But he would have to because he differently does not love it for the money. He has been there 8 years and I get paid more than him, I am in Mortgage.

Every police officer I know has to put their jobs before their family. And you have to know this before going into the marriage. If they put their family before their job I would be very worried about their safety. They have to be all in this job. Not for one second can they wonder away or something could go wrong.

Now my husband decided to take us off his insurance and me and the kids were getting our own to save money. We are paying less BUT he has a take home car.. Oh you say that is great. Yes in a way. BUT he pays to take it home, he pays to use it for details!!! So really it sucks having a take home car. Even if he has to go to court on his day off, he has to pay for it. So are we really saving money.

You see all these athletes getting paid millions because they can throw a football, dribble a basketball or even musicians can sing. But teachers and police officers and yes nurses get paid SHIT!!!!! People who save our lives, keep our lives saves and mold our young get the short end of the deal. What is wrong with that picture????????
